Kettlebell Leg & Core Circuit

kettlebellworkout.jpg

This was a great cardio and strength workout! I used 2 kettlebells, a 15# kettlebell for the split squats, and v-ups and a 35# for everything else. I also added a driveway hill sprint to the end of each round and finished up with 3 more. Then finished out with some glute isolation work:)

So my full workout looked like this:

3 ROUNDS:

20 GOODMORNINGS (35#)

10 KB SQUATS (35# HOLDING IN FRONT)

20 V-UPS (15#)

10 SUMO SQUATS (35#)

20 L-SIT ALTERNATE LEG LIFT

10 KB SQUATS

20 KB SWINGS (35#)

10 SUMO SQUATS

20 MTN CLIMBERS (EA LEG)

DRIVEWAY SPRINT (40 SEC)

3 DRIVEWAY SPRINTS

3X20 (5lb ankle weights)

KICKBACKS

SIDE HYDRANT + KICK

STRAIGHT LEG RAISE

Ended with a serious hip stretch on my kitchen counter. Try this. Lay with your back flat and your hips on the edge of the counter, core activated, and let one leg hang off the counter, while your pull your other leg up to your chest. Hold for a minute or two and switch!

Hope you enjoy the torture!:)
